Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios
Opening 30th June 2018 – be the first!
When it opens, guests visiting Disney’s new Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios will have a great time with Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and Andy’s other beloved toys right in Andy’s backyard. Rides include Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, and an update to Toy Story Mania, an interactive 4-D arcade experience.
Toy Story Land gives you a “shrinking” feeling because, as with so many things Disney, everything else is larger than life. You are the size of the toys, or is it the other way round?
Slinky Dog Dash is a roller coaster Andy built from his Mega Coaster Play Kit. You get to ride Slinky Dog! Thanks, Andy!
Alien Swirling Saucers is a space themed play set that Andy won from Pizza Planet. Little green aliens swirl around in their flying saucers with guests following along in their rocket ship toys. “The Claw” hangs overhead while every child hopes he or she is chosen.
You will walk through a new carnival game box to experience Toy Story Mania. This attraction has been around since 2008, when it quickly became a guest-favorite attraction at the park. It has now been expanded with a third track. Even more guests can get in on the action taking aim at 3D objects – using everything from baseballs to cream pies – in a variety of whimsical, fast-paced games.
Woody’s Lunch Box – well, it’s really Andy’s lunch box that he’s dropped on its side – inside they serve up tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats from a walk-up window setting.
The entire land serves as a visual celebration of Andy’s toys including Crayons, Cooties, Green Army Men, Rubik’s Cubes, Tinkertoys, and other familiar toys and game pieces all incorporated into the landscape.

We just came back from a six night stay at a home in Paradise Palms. It was so much more then I expected. First, we were so relived when we walked through the door. The house was as lovely as the on line photos. And spotless. A starter sample of cleaning items, enough towels for all 9 of us, and an extra bedroom we weren't expecting! The kids loved the air hockey. We had an issue with one of the smoke alarms and It was addressed in less than 30 minutes!
It is an easy ride to all of Disney and next to a ton of stores and restaurants.
The clubhouse is beautiful with a wonderful pool, movies everyday, a gym and restaurant.
There were small issues. One was the parking. We barely made due with 3 cars in front of the house. After all the usage the carpet needs addressing. But, other then that, it is a spacious comfortable perfect get away for a large family.
Just stayed at "Minnies House of Champions" for 2 weeks with Villa Direct. I don't usually write reviews, but just had to and let everyone know this was the BEST vacation our family ever had. Coming over the the pond from Bristol in the UK, we were worried about what we would find, but the house was exactly what they promised and was perfect for our needs. From the booking to the departure, everything was done to make our family holiday perfect.
We had one problem with a lack of kitchen knives when we arrived and they had new ones waiting for us the following morning. The staff were helpful and polite - so I was surprised to see some of the reviews (I guess everyone gets out of bed on the wrong side somedays!).
The house was incredible and the resort made days away from the theme parks enjoyable for all 22 of us. We're going to start saving for our next trip.
