Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios
Opening 30th June 2018 – be the first!
When it opens, guests visiting Disney’s new Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios will have a great time with Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and Andy’s other beloved toys right in Andy’s backyard. Rides include Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, and an update to Toy Story Mania, an interactive 4-D arcade experience.
Toy Story Land gives you a “shrinking” feeling because, as with so many things Disney, everything else is larger than life. You are the size of the toys, or is it the other way round?
Slinky Dog Dash is a roller coaster Andy built from his Mega Coaster Play Kit. You get to ride Slinky Dog! Thanks, Andy!
Alien Swirling Saucers is a space themed play set that Andy won from Pizza Planet. Little green aliens swirl around in their flying saucers with guests following along in their rocket ship toys. “The Claw” hangs overhead while every child hopes he or she is chosen.
You will walk through a new carnival game box to experience Toy Story Mania. This attraction has been around since 2008, when it quickly became a guest-favorite attraction at the park. It has now been expanded with a third track. Even more guests can get in on the action taking aim at 3D objects – using everything from baseballs to cream pies – in a variety of whimsical, fast-paced games.
Woody’s Lunch Box – well, it’s really Andy’s lunch box that he’s dropped on its side – inside they serve up tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats from a walk-up window setting.
The entire land serves as a visual celebration of Andy’s toys including Crayons, Cooties, Green Army Men, Rubik’s Cubes, Tinkertoys, and other familiar toys and game pieces all incorporated into the landscape.

Stayed for a week (7 days) in Villa Direct and it was beyond amazing. The property was so clean, and they literally thought of every detail down to an ice cream scoop. The customer service was outstanding and all the people we encountered from the Cabana staff to the landscapers were kind, professional, and conversational. The people at the gate were super wonderful when we struggled to scan our access pass and helped to trouble shoot the issue. We felt safe with our children walking around the property, and would like to come back again.
The one issue we thought was a bit different, were the number of overhead buzzards we saw every time we were outside. Though not bothersome, they were just present in large numbers.
Looking forward to our next visit.
We reached out to VillaDirect as a local family looking to house relatives for a reunion. The service was efficient and friendly. The pictures, on the website, were accurate and gave us high expectations that were definitely met! Once we booked the HUGE/BEAUTIFUL home, through VillaDirect, we didn't have to worry about the logistics of anything else for such a large party. VillaDirect took a lot of stress off of my husband and I and really allowed us to relax and enjoy our family time. They took care of everything from leaving the kids individual Goofy kits to dinner show reservations to theme park passes. The house, located in Champions Gate, was a perfect fit for us as we live in Polk County. It was about a 10 minute drive to meet with them then only another 10 minutes to the Disney parks! We will absolutely use VillaDirect for any future family functions and have been spreading the word to all our friends! A huge THANK YOU to the staff again for a great experience. Its nice to see a business around the Disney area that actually cares about their guests and not just the income. 🙂
We have used Villa Direct multiple times for the Cumbrian Lake houses.
The houses are clean and well maintained and near all the sights. We enjoyed the new couches and large TV at the Jacaruna home. Its view there is our favorite.
