 Oktoberfest by the German American Society of Central Florida

The German American Society of Central Florida puts on one of the biggest Oktoberfest celebrations in Florida, and it’s open to the public! The only requirement is that you’re ready and eager to enjoy German customs, traditions, entertainment, food and a whole lot of “gemulichkeit,” which in German means “warmth, friendliness and good cheer.”  Like at any Oktoberfest, you’ll find authentic German food, live music and folk dancing, but there’s also a flag parade, a kids’ fun zone and a special Biergarten with every type of German beer you can imagine.

Downtown Oktoberfest 2015

Trinity Downtown presents Downtown Oktoberfest, the Official Oktoberfest Celebration of the Honorary Consul of Germany in Orlando on Friday, October 21. Now in its 6th year, Downtown Oktoberfest brings the best of the traditional German festival to the streets of downtown Orlando. Festival highlights include a biergarten with Oktoberfest beer and delicious traditional German concessions, live entertainment from The Swinging Bavarians and The Brew Band, a “Fun”garten featuring fall craft activities, carnival and yard games for the kids and the best local Orlando vendors have to offer for purchase. Donations of nonperishable food items will be collected as event admission to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

When: Friday, October 21 from 6 – 11 p.m.

Celebration Oktoberfest 2015
