Attractions
The Orlando Eye
If you’ve visited Orlando and haven’t caught a bird-eye view yet, you don’t know what you’re missing. The Orlando Eye is a massive 400-foot tall observation wheel at the heart of the Orlando I-Drive 360 complex which takes you on a 30-minute journey to the top of the city. You can enjoy breathtaking views of Central Florida in all directions, with sights of the Orlando skyline, nearby theme parks, lush green landscapes and on a clear day, even the Kennedy Space Center on the east coast (with binoculars J ).
Madame Tussauds
Madame Tussauds is the world’s most famous celebrity wax attraction and really one of those bucket list type places, and you can find it right in the middle of Orlando I-Drive 360. Every wanted to rub elbows with the guys from One Direction or get your picture taken with President Obama? Madame Tussauds provides the opportunity, rolling out the red carpet so you can take the ULTIMATE selfie!
SEA LIFE Aquarium
Orlando might not be on the coast, but there is a little piece of the ocean right in the heart of Orlando. The SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium brings you face to face with more than 5,000 different creatures and diverse species including colorful fish, colorful fish, seahorses, and jellyfish. The coolest part of the experience? You can walk through a 360 immersive tunnel where you’ll be surrounded by turtles and sharks! If you’re a sea-lover, the SEA LIFE Aquarium is must-see during your time in Orlando
Dining
Buffalo Wild Wings
Sight-seeing in Orlando is a quick way to work up a serious appetite, and the Buffalo Wild Wings at Orlando I-Drive 360 is the right place to satisfy it! Sure, it’s a chain…but awesome wings are awesome wings. Period. The restaurant has won hundreds of “Best Wings” and “Best Sports Bar” awards across the country, and the I-Drive location is no exception. The Buffalo Wild Wings menu features a HUGE cariety of boldly-flavored wing combinations with 21 different signature sauces and seasoning. My personal favorites: Garlic Parmesean and Asian Zing!
The Shake Shack
If you’ve taken my advice and dropped by Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch, there’s only one place you can go next: The Shake Shack. They’re a burger joint, but they’ve got some of the best frozen custard shakes around. We like their strawberry or hand-spun vanilla shakes, but they’ve also got cookies and cream, caramel, peanut butter and even coffee. It’s the perfect after lunch snack stop!
Our honest opinion? The Orlando I-Drive 360 is awesome. Does it compare to Walt Disney World or Universal Studios? Probably not. But it’s a fun, family friendly and affordable place to grab a bite to eat and see some of Orlando’s most unique attractions around lunch time, and it’s a definite can’t miss!
