Flee Winter – Time to Visit Orlando’s DisneyWorld
Winter is coming! While sledding and hot cocoa may seem like a fun-filled afternoon with the children, there’s one alternative that would have less wind-chapped lips and freezing fingertips. It’s time to flee winter! Head on down to Disney World in warm and sunny Orlando, Florida.
It’s assumed that Disney is a place to visit in the summer, but that leads to crowds of people shuffling around in the hot Florida weather. Disney World has so many activities geared for the winter season, and the best part? Less crowding around the popular rides and attractions!
Less crowded in winter.
Take a stroll with your family through Magic Kingdom and you’ll find yourself stumbling into Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party! What could be more magical than Mickey and his pals teaming up with Santa for a parade and party that includes all your favorite Disney characters? The magic doesn’t stop there, either. Queen Elsa transforms Cinderella’s Castle into a stunning icy palace amidst fireworks that’s sure to delight children of all ages.
It’s time for change. Grab the kids, the car, and the vacation home! Soak up the sun and fun of an Orlando, Florida Disney World winter vacation spectacular!
If you find yourself missing the snowfall now that you’ve decided to flee winter, there’s always the Flurry of Fun at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Enjoy fireworks, a dessert course, and even “snow” at the Sunset Seasons Greetings. Sunset Boulevard is transformed by laser light shows, becoming a winter wonderland without the chill of Jack Frost nipping at your nose.
Create a new tradition to flee winter every year.
Of course, no visit to Disney World visit would be complete without Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays. There’s so many traditions that surround the holiday season, the world over! Learn, discover, and explore those international traditions through the 11 nation world showcase celebration. Enjoy the Candlelight Processional that tells the story of Christmas, grab a “passport” and sample holiday cuisine from all over the world.
All of this is such a spectacular reason to run straight for Orlando’s Disney World. But accommodations can be hard to come by in the park itself, or not allow for the privacy that you might experience all cozy in your own home. That’s why many visitors, especially in the winter, look outside the park for homier options. Vacation homes allow for
- more privacy
- less overwhelming excitement for already exuberant children
- downtime
- the joy of gathering your family close for the holiday season
Flee winter to one of our vacation homes.
To be perfectly honest, Disney World at any point in the year is a fabulous vacation destination. However, it can be a bit less crowded and much cooler as a way to flee winter and enjoy the warmth of sunny central Florida without the overwhelming crowds that rush to the park during peak season. Then there is really only one choice. Disney World will always be a terrific alternative to being snowed in and bored with the same old binge-watching, cocoa drinking routine.
